You can permanently delete your Givays account and personal data at any time. Here's exactly what happens and how to request it.
There are two ways to delete your account. Both run the same process.
If you can't access the app, email us from the address registered to your account and we'll start the deletion for you.
Email privacy@givays.comPlease send your request from the email address associated with your account so we can verify your identity. We respond to deletion requests within 30 days.

How the deletion process works.
30-day grace period. When you request deletion, your account is deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent removal after 30 days. During this window you can cancel by signing back into the app, and your account will be fully restored.
After 30 days. Your account and the personal data listed above are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Limited retention. We may retain a minimal set of records where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting obligations. These records are not used to identify you for any other purpose and are deleted once the applicable retention period ends.
